A corporate downsizer who's built his entire existence around detachment and constant travel finds his carefully constructed world disrupted when a young colleague threatens to automate his job and a chance encounter forces him to question everything he values. As Ryan struggles between protecting his solitary lifestyle and the unexpected pull of human connection, he discovers that some of life's most important moments can't be outsourced or avoided.
Synopsis
Ryan's job is to travel around the country firing off people. When his boss hires Natalie, who proposes firing people via video conference, he tries to convince her that her method is a mistake.
